Alumni Gift Brings State-of-the-Art Luxedo Court Projection System to Scottsbluff High School Gymnasium

Scottsbluff High School is now home to a cutting-edge Luxedo Court Projection System thanks to a generous donation from alumni Scott and Heather Neu, graduates of the Scottsbluff High School classes of 1989 and 1991.
Installed in the SHS gymnasium, the Luxedo Court Projection System is a state-of-the-art technology used in professional athletics to create an exciting, high-energy environment for athletes and spectators alike. The system projects dynamic visuals directly onto the court, elevating game-day experiences, performances, and special events.
“This technology brings a professional-level atmosphere to our gym,” said Beth Rohrer, Director of the Scottsbluff Public Schools Foundation. “It enhances school pride, energizes our athletes, and creates unforgettable moments for students, families, and the entire community.”
Scottsbluff High School Athletic Director Nate Rock emphasized the impact the system will have on student-athletes and fans. “ We are excited to explore all the possibilities a system like this offers, not just for our student athletes but for everyone at SHS,” said Rock. “Our athletes already work incredibly hard, and this gives them an experience that mirrors what they see at the collegiate and professional levels. It also creates an incredible atmosphere for our fans and visiting teams.”
Beyond athletics and performances, the Luxedo system also offers educational opportunities. The projection capabilities can be used for assemblies, presentations, and other instructional purposes, making it a versatile tool that supports student engagement across multiple areas of school life.
The innovative installation has already drawn national attention. Footage of the Luxedo Court Projection System shared on X was picked up by ESPN, further highlighting Scottsbluff High School’s commitment to innovation and student experience. The post can be viewed here:

“Scottsbluff Public Schools helped shape who we are today,” said the Neus. “Supporting the Scottsbluff Public Schools Foundation allows us to give back in a meaningful way and provide today’s students with opportunities we’re excited to see them enjoy.”
The Luxedo Court Projection System is the first of its kind in the region and reflects the Foundation’s commitment to enhancing student experiences through innovation and community support.
The Scottsbluff Public Schools Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to Scott and Heather Neu for their generosity and continued commitment to the students of Scottsbluff Public Schools.
