SHS DECA wins big at District Conference Boasting 23 Placers

The Greater Nebraska DECA Conference was held at the SBPS Education Center on November 3rd, 2025.  Approximately 110 students from Scottsbluff, Sidney, and Gering Nebraska competed in 14 marketing, management, and entrepreneurship events.  The conference was a great success, due in large part to the contributions of over 16 local business and community leaders who served as judges for the conference.  Students were required to take a written test and participate in a judged role play.   The scores of the two were added together to determine the top three individuals in each marketing area. 

Scottsbluff DECA had 23 students place in the top 3 with 11 of those members being 1st place medal winners. Several more members earned top 3 finishes in either the written test or the judged role play. Scottsbluff DECA medalists include:
