Scottsbluff Public Schools to offer Free Meals to all Students through December 31, 2020

Scottsbluff Public Schools to offer Free Meals to all Students through December 31, 2020

Scottsbluff Public Schools is excited to announce that all students will receive free meals thanks to a CARES Act funded USDA waiver for the remainder of the calendar year as long as funding is available.  Beginning Monday, September 14th, all students will receive free breakfast or lunch regardless of income.  This includes one entrée, fruits and vegetables, and choice of milk or water, but does not include additional a la carte items.

Any existing funds on a student’s meal account can be used to buy additional items or will remain in the account until the time that the USDA waiver expires.  The District will communicate via Remind to all families when charges resume for meals.

Extended Campus (online) Learning students are also eligible for Free Grab and Go Meal packs distributed twice weekly.  Families can sign up on the Extended Campus Connection website.
