Longfellow Students Participate in National Start With Hello Week
Start With Hello teaches students to make a difference with their peers in a simple, fun, and impactful way. They take small but powerful actions to promote connectedness and inclusion and to identify and help lonely students who are showing signs of social isolation.
Longfellow will be joined thousands of schools and youth organizations across the country participating in Start with Hello Week from September 23-27th.
Daily at 7:40 AM staff and students have been holding signs outside of school to welcome kids and remind them to be kind. Kids walk the perimeter of the school with a new friend to promote inclusiveness.
During the week students will also be greeting each other using various languages and posting thank you notes in the hallway for students who have been kind to others.
