SHS Science Department receives Anatomage 3D Visualization Table

The 3D Visualization Table is a state of the art piece of technology providing students a valuable educational tool comparable to most colleges. It allows students to interact with young and well preserved digital cadavers. Students are also exposed to different anatomical variations and a large number of pathological variations. The accurate details and rich content draw students’ interest and attention leading to more effective education outcomes.

This piece of equipment is portable and can be used in a range of Science related courses such as Anatomy and Physiology, Health Sciences, Animal Sciences, and Biology. The possibilities for student interaction and learning are robust.  Software included with the table allows teachers to use built-in quizzes or create custom assessments.  Students can identify bones and organs, measure bones, follow blood flow through the circulatory system and view scope style fly-throughs of the digital cadavers.

This table was funded through the $828,000 Nebraska Innovation Grant received by Scottsbluff High School in 2017.
