A Supportive Parent School Community

An important component for student success in schooling is parental involvement.  We want to support parents and offer opportunities for involvement at the school in a meaningful way.  To do this, we offer 4 family nights each year that are themed and completely voluntary.  Example themes may include Celebrate Family, Honoring Community Helpers, or Transitions to Kindergarten.  Our staff design learning opportunities for families that attend that engages students with family for learning specific skills within the set theme.  Families may come and go as fits their individual schedules and complete as many or as few activities as they like.  Our success rate has been high while working with families using this model because of how engaging it is for both adult and child.
