6th Grade Counselor

Degrees and Certifications:

Lorna Davis

I graduated from Chadron State College with a degree in Education in 2008.  My endorsement is in Health Education, grades 7-12.  Prior to receiving my degree in Education, I worked as a Recrational Therapist at Regional West Medical Center.  I recently also obtained my Masters Degree from Chadron State in School Counseling.  I decided to obtain my degree in education because I love working with kids, particularly adolescents. The middle school years are an exciting and challenging time of life.  Students are changing in every way possible-physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.  As a school counselor, I want to provide support for students and their families as they experience these changes and help them be as successful as possible in school.

  • Welcome to a new school year, and for the 6th graders, a new building, teachers, and many exciting experiences to come!  I am very much looking forward to getting to know this 6th-grade class and helping them navigate their way through their middle school years.  Please don't hesitate to call at 635-6282 or e-mail me at lodavis@sbps.net with any questions regarding the first few weeks of school.
