Mr. Stodola

My name is Dustin Stodola. I am originally from the small town of Clarkson Ne. After graduating from Clarkson High School, I graduated from Chadron State College. In college I wrestled for five years, I was also fortunate enough to coach for two years as well while at Chadron State.

I currently live in Scottsbluff Ne, where I teach at Bluffs Middle School. I am primarily the 6th Grade PE teacher but I also help with 7th and 8th Grade PE. Outside of teaching I coach middle school football and high school wrestling.

Class Overview

It is important that all 6th-grade students bring no-marking shoes that can be tied. Not having shoes for a class will result in a loss of their daily participation points.

It is important that all 7th-grade and 8th-grade students bring clothes at the beginning of the week for P.E. and take them home to be washed at the end of the week. Not bringing clothes for a class will result in a loss of their daily participation points.

At the beginning of the fall semester, each student will be participating in physical fitness tests. These tests include the 40-yard dash, mile run, sit-up test, shuttle run, standing long jump. The students will revisit these tests at the end of the spring semester.

Daily participation points that have been missed due to an absence, doctor note or parent note can be made up at open gym.

Open gym is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:45 AM - 7:15 AM.

Students must enter through entrance #4 on the North West side of BMS. Doors will be open from 6:45 AM - 6:55 AM.

One day, 30 minutes at Open Gym makes up for two days of missed daily participation points.

If a student attends Open Gym to make up points make sure the student communicates with Mr. Burda and myself.
