Alice Nye Classroom Room 200

  • Alice Nye is a veteran Special Education Teacher in Scottsbluff Schools.  Alice has in the district in excess of thirty years of experience.  Alice is a "true"  BEAR CAT fan and supporter.  She is excited about learning new knowlege and methods of classroom presentations.

    Alice works primarily in the English Department supporting the English teachers and co-teaching with several teachers.

    Alice is orignally from Colorado and received all her college experiences and degrees through Colorado Schools.  She is orignally from the small town of Otis, Colorado and received her undergraduate degrees from Northeastern Junior College and the University of Northern Colorado.  She has also completed her Master's Degree from the University of Northern Colorado.

    Alice is the mother of one daughter, Allison.  Allison is a graduate of Scottsbluff High School and lives in Omaha, Nebraska and works as an Emergency Room Clinical Therapist.

    Alice is involved in the Co-Teaching Program this year and has been in the past.  She co-teachers English 9 and English 10.  She is also involved with the Study Strategies Classes that support the IEP students as well as all other students.
