Mrs. Kinsey

*   I was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, though I moved around as a child and young adult. I have lived in multiple cities, and have always been so excited to understand every unique piece of the world that I possibly could. This I think has given me a gift, and allowed me to see and understand the inner complexities of true diversity.

*   Education was important in my home growing up, and continues to be the center of my life, as well as in the life of my family. From very early in my life, one of my favorite games to play was school. (Of course, I was always the teacher!) I feel the need to to help, and I believe that one person can change the world! For each and every child that I reach, I like to think that I teach them that the change that is needed in the world, could be them!

*   Life after growing up, truly involved me learning first hand that I really had a gift for teaching. When I was young, I never thought that I would have children, and yet when I did, this is what truly led me to find my path. I have two children of my own. (Three, if you count my husband of 16 years!) I love them more than life itself! As all parents do, I think that they are simply amazing! After having my first child, I finally realized that being a teacher is who I have always been. I am happiest when I am surrounded by young ones. Every day that I am in the classroom, I feel this affirmed. This is where I belong. My home away from home. I love what I do, and I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love.
