Mrs. Craig says...
Hello! Welcome to 2019-2020! This is my third year of teaching 2nd grade and my 24th year overall. I am excited to get back with the students for a great year. Our summer has flown by and we are diving right into this exciting year.
A little bit about my past teaching experiences. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Chadron State College in December 1995. I attended a one-room elementary school and then taught for 10 years in Class 1 schools in the area. We weren't quite like Laura Ingalls/Flowerfield, but there were similarities. I have now taught at Lincoln Heights for 14 years in grades 4, 5, and 2.
My husband, Chuck, and children, Hunter (20), Emily (16), and Jewelle (15) enjoy the outdoor world of fishing, hunting, and camping. I love to go along with them and read while they catch supper. :)
I have had the honor of educating several children from all walks of life. I hope that they have learned from me as much as I have learned from them. I love seeing all my "kids" from previous years and seeing how much they have grown and changed.
