Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Deb Surber, and I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Computers at Bluffs Middle School. I have been involved in the field of education for over 15 years along with having experience in the corporate arena as a computer/soft skills trainer at a state and national level. I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters, and grandson. I also fill my spare time with gardening, reading, or decorating my home. In May of 2014 I finished my Master's program in Curriculum & Instruction through Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. In my "spare time" I teach online for Bellevue University as a Professor of Business.
My Blog ~ The Connected Curriculum
Becoming a connected educator has transformed the way I view education and has helped me identify with the lives of my students in a completely different way. Technology has taken me to a level where I can collaborate beyond my wildest imagination. What is my message to you? Technology is not going to go away, so it is essential that you be connected if you are going to be a quality 21st Century Educator and/or an informed and updated parent!
