Thank You Friends of the District
Aulick Industries has been a long-time community partner of the District and has been instrumental in providing hands-on opportunities for students in our Ag, Food and Natural Resources Academy and our Skilled and Technical Sciences Academy. Aulicks provides internships for SHS students which can grow into paid positions, partnered with SHS for the area's first-ever Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship, provides industry tours for students, projects for SHS welding classes and most recently created an amazing Diesel Tech program for our students. Aulicks also supports Scottsbluff Activities, provides a Career Academy Scholarship through the SBPS Foundation, partnered with Bluffs Middle School to be awarded a $107,000 Developing Youth Talent Grant and Aulick employees are involved with the 3E initiative.
ALLO Communications partners with SBPS in a variety of ways. Through the past several years, ALLO has donated over $51,000 to support district technology through the ALLO for Education program. During the COVID-19 pandemic when schools were closed ALLO provided free internet to Scottsbluff families in order for students to access Extended Campus Learning. ALLO also partnered with the SBPS IT Department in order to provide a parking lot wireless access point on the BMS campus for families outside of ALLO's service area to access internet with student devices. In addition, ALLO supports activities and provides gifts of appreciation to staff members.
