About Mr. Bollish
In my 8th year at SBPS and 11th year teaching I look forward to meeting, learning and building relationships with all my incoming and returning students. This year I will be teaching Dual Credit Psychology through Chadron State college and providing behavioral support for the district. The career courses allow students to explore the fundamentals and process of identifying, pursuing, attaining and excelling in a career field. This is also the class where we facilitate job shadows, plan for internships, write resumes, have professional interview coaching and explore individual interests. I believe that taking risks is required for any learning to take place, and that all risks are rewarded with either success or an opportunity to learn. I believe in writing, revision, asking the hard questions, digging for facts and being informed. I hope each student leaves my room with a stronger understanding of the content than when they walked in, a noticeable development in their ability to effectively communicate their thoughts and beliefs both verbally and through written means and a stronger sense of self, including value, ability, passion, and their own core beliefs. Please reach out to me as you need. This will also by my 5th year as the head coach for Girls Basketball, and 8th year in the program.
