Senior Speeches

Message from Mayor Raymond Gonzales

Message from Superintendent Rick Myles

  • Class of 2020,

You've certainly made us all proud! Your academic honors and the accolades you've attained in so many endeavors have exceeded any expectations Rick Myles and place you among the most accomplished senior classes in a long, long time. What impresses me the most is the large number of you who've reached such levels of excellence. You're not a group that's relied upon a small percentage of students to shine but, instead, so many of you have been recognized in so many different ways. You've also done the "small" things - the everyday things - that contribute to your outstanding reputation. Maturity, individuality, perseverance and energy are all descriptors that come to mind as I think of your class. I know you will all go on to lead lives that will be special and meaningful. Given the strange year we are all experiencing, your legacy will only be enhanced by your resilience. You're a very special group! Be proud! Get out there and make a difference! Thrive!

    All my best,
    Rick Myles
    Superintendent
