Mrs. Wendy Kemling-Horner
Mrs. Kemling-Horner earned
her undergraduate degree in mathematics with an emphasis in
education from Colorado State University in 1996. She later earned
her Master’s of Education from Regis University. Mrs.
Kemling-Horner has endorsements in Administration, Special
Education Mild to Moderate Needs, Special Education Severe Needs
Cognitive, and Alternative Cooperative Education.
Prior to arriving in Scottsbluff Mrs. Kemling-Horner was the
Director of Special Education for Bridgeport and Bayard Schools for
one year. Previous to that, Mrs. Kemling-Horner was a special
education teacher in Sterling, Colorado.
Wendy Kemling-Horner is a member of the Nebraska Council of School Administrators, Phi Lambda Theta, the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, Council of Exceptional Children, National Association of Professional Women, Nebraska Association of Special Education Supervisors Region V President, LifeLinks Advisory Board, Panhandle Substance Abuse Council, Nebraska State Educational Advisory Committee for Autism, Panhandle Transition Team, Early Childhood Planning Region 13, Developmental Disabilities Advisory Council, Early Childhood Conference Committee, and CASA Board of Directors. Mrs. Kemling-Horner is also on several state committees. Mrs. Kemling-Horner has been a volunteer and coach for Special Olympics for more than 20 years.
