Mrs. Lavon Hood

Director of Business Services

Mrs. Hood joined Scottsbluff Public Schools in October 2008. Prior to working for the schools, she worked in the corporate sector most recently with Hewlett Packard in various areas including Financial Services, Business Process Outsourcing and managed a Hewlett Packard global business process team with employees in India, China, Romania, and Poland.

Mrs. Hood holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from National American University, and a Master in Business Administration from Colorado State University.

Mrs. Hood is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) with the Project Management Institute. She is also a member of the Association of School Board Officials (ASBO) and serves as a deacon in the First Presbyterian Church of Scottsbluff.
