Mrs. Lavon Hood
Director of Business Services

Lavon Hood has been named the new Director of Business Services for Scottsbluff Public Schools. Hood previously worked with Hewlett Packard Global Business Services, managing a global team located in India, Poland, Romania and China. Hood received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from National American University. She received her Master in Business Administration from Colorado State University and holds an additional certification in Project Management.
“Mrs. Hood will bring a new perspective to the position of Director of Business Services with her global experience from Hewlett Packard. We feel extremely fortunate to have found someone with her background and expertise in the business and finance areas” stated Dr. Gary Reynolds, Superintendent.
Hood recently relocated to the area from Colorado with her husband and daughter. She and her husband also have two sons who are enrolled in college. Their oldest son is enrolled at Colorado State University and their younger son is enrolled at Lincoln College of Technology in Denver.
