New Superintendent Announced
Richard “Rick” Myles has been selected as the new Superintendent of Scottsbluff Public Schools. The SBPS Board of Education announced their decision at the December 28th Board of Education meeting. Currently Rick is serving as Community Superintendent at Jeffco Colorado School District where he has been involved in the budget process, developed study teams, and helped establish the Metro’s first Dropout Prevention and Recovery Office. Rick will begin his duties as superintendent effective July 01, 2010 upon the retirement of Dr. Gary Reynolds who has been superintendent since July 01, 2004.
