12/2/2008: The
district’s architect, Schemmer
& Associates, presented an open pre-bid hearing requesting
RFQ’s (Request for Qualifications) from any and all interested
contractors.
12/16/2008: Sealed bids were opened and read aloud at the bid
meeting with any and all interested contractors present.
1/12/2009: The Board of Education formally accepted a winning bid from Anderson & Shaw Construction.
4/21/2009: The
first photos of progress on the two story addition:

6/25/2009: The
elevator takes shape, and framing for the new addition as well as
the re-located main office space begins. New windows are
installed by Thompson
Glass, Inc.

1/7/2009: The district’s architect, Schemmer & Associates, will present an open pre-bid hearing requesting RFQ’s (Request for Qualifications) from any and all interested contractors.
3/9/2009: The Board of Education formally accepted a winning bid from Sampson Construction Company for the Manager at Risk. What is a Manager at Risk?
5/1/2009: Sampson Construction is on site.
5/25/2009: Constructions fences and signs are erected.
5/27/2009: Geothermal test wells are drilled.
6/2/2009: Demolition of the exterior west entrance to the gymnasium begins.
6/3/2009: A whole is punched through the west gymnasium wall to allow for large equipment to enter and begin final preparations for the demolition of the gymnasium and auditorium. Click here for the full story and photos.
6/15/2009: Demolition of the auditorium begins.
6/17/2009: Final demolition of the auditorium.
6/25/2009: Demolition of the locker rooms begins.
