2 SHS Alumni Receive National Attention

What's more impressive than having one alum representing your home town at the Miss America Pageant? How about 2 alumni competing for the crown!
Ashley Bauer was crowned Miss Nebraska this summer and graduated from SHS in 2004. She is currently a student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Jennifer McCafferty was crowned Miss Wyoming this summer and graduated from SHS in 2002 as a Valedictorian. She is a student at the University of Wyoming in Laramie.
Both girls can be seen on the reality series currently airing
on TLC featuring the pageant queens from across the country.
On January 26, the two will compete in the Miss America
Pageant in Las Vegas to be aired live on the TLC channel.
We wish them both luck and know they will represent the Bearcats well!
