“Exploring the New Pyramid For a New YOU”
This is a 12 week nutrition and activity program that encourages participants to learn and follow the newly revised food guide pyramid every day.
As you may or may not know, four of the top 10 causes of death have been associated with diets too high in calories, fat and cholesterol. No doubt, improving our own diet and health can reduce illness and productivity losses, and even prevent premature death. Since advantages of good nutrition and physical activity include a reduced risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and cancer, I am confident that this program will help all of us realize the benefits of healthier habits and reduced health risks
