Information about MRSA

School personnel are working together with area public health agencies and medical professionals to address MRSA and prevent the spread of staph infections among our students. While medical professionals tell us the most likely transmission of the infection is by direct person-to-person contact, actions are being taken to thoroughly clean areas of our schools where students are more likely to spread the infection. The school is reinforcing to students and staff the importance of regular hand washing and personal hygiene.
