2007 Old West Weekend Parade
The BMS 7th and 8th Grade Marching Band (95 members) received a Division I Superior rating from all five judges.
2008 Western Nebraska Middle Level Instrumental Music Contest
The BMS 6th Grade Concert Band received a Division I Superior rating from all three judges at the Western Nebraska Middle Level Instrumental Music Contest.
The BMS 7th Grade Concert Band received a Division I Superior rating from all three judges at the Western Nebraska Middle Level Instrumental Music Contest.
The BMS 8th Grade Concert Band received a Division I Superior rating from all three judges at the Western Nebraska Middle Level Instrumental Music Contest.
2008 Music In The Parks Festival
The BMS 8th Grade Concert Band won 1st place in their class and Overall best Junior High/Middle School Concert Band at the Music In The Parks Festival at Elitch Gardens.
