Mr. Kinsey is a life-long resident of western Nebraska. He graduated from Gering High School, and Chadron State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Kinsey was employed for 35 years by the Scottsbluff Police Department. He served as Commander of the Criminal Investigation Division for 29 years and retired in June of 2005. Kinsey worked as a Nebraska Field Coordinator for the Mid-States Organized Crime Information Center, a law enforcement support project funded by the Department of Justice that provides technical support to law enforcement organizations, until December 2007. He currently is the Security Manager at Aurora Loan Services.
Mr. Kinsey and his wife Ronda have three children.
