Mission Statement 

In a cooperative partnership with a community that values excellence in education, the Scottsbluff Public School District will utilize existing and emerging technologies to provide educational opportunities, expand and improve communication, access information, and optimize administrative operations.

The Scottsbluff Public School District has made a significant investment and commitment to technology integration and utilization at all levels. The District uses technology to support and enhance the educational process, to facilitate district operations, and to communicate and store data and information at various levels.

Currently the Technology Department is implementing an upgrade to its wireless network infrastructure in three of our Elementary Schools.  This upgrade consists of new wireless access points as well as new laptop computers for teachers.  This project will enable teachers to use wireless laptops throughout the building.  This is the first year of a four year project.  Each additional year other schools will be upgraded with the goal of making the entire district “wireless”.  Currently the IT department consists of three members, Bob Hanson, computer technician, Mike Folgle, Network Engineer and David Davis (pictured), Technology Supervisor.
